For a second year, TD Tree Days looks a little different due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. This annual initiative, which normally consists of tree planting events across Canada and in the U.S. has evolved to keep the well-being of volunteers, colleagues and the communities we serve a top priority.
TD Tree Days has been bringing people together since 2010 and is helping to create a more vibrant planet by growing and enhancing green spaces in underserved, low-to-moderate income communities, and is contributing to the TD Ready Commitment's target of helping plant 1 million trees by 2030.
That’s why this fall, we are working together with community-based organizations to fund planting projects across Canada and in the U.S. that will help keep our green spaces and natural areas healthy and vibrant.
While we can't participate in community tree plantings this year as we practice physical distancing, TD is offering other ways to participate and explore the outdoors in your local community with imagination and care.
The TD Tree Days Activity Guide can help you and your family explore the outdoors by connecting with Nature through suggested fun activities. These fun activities are set out below and are courtesy of community organizations supported by the TD Ready Commitment:
