Deaf Community Plantings

Building on the success of its inaugural Deaf Community planting in 2014, TD Friends of the Environment Foundation is hosting 10 Deaf Community Plantings in nine communities nationwide. TD will provide American Sign Language (ASL) interpreters at each site to facilitate communication between Deaf and Hearing volunteers.

  • Edmonton, AB - Hermitage Park - Sept 19
  • Winnipeg, MB - Fort Whyte Alive - Sept 27
  • Belleville, ON - Quinte Conservation Area - Oct 3 
  • London, ON (am) - Thompson Road Park - Sept 26
  • London, ON (pm) - Watson Street Park - Sept 26
  • Milton, ON - Milton Regional Landfill - Sept 27
  • Woodbridge, ON - Kortright Centre - Oct 18
  • Mount Pearl, NL - North of Topsail Road - Sept 26 TBC
